Joseph Campbell was an American mythologist, writer and lecturer, best known for his work in comparative mythology .  His PBS interview with Bill Moyers introducing The Power of Myth was one of the most popular TV series in the history of public television.  It explored how myths hold the key to understanding human experience.  This monthly group will watch sections of “The Power of Myth” and discuss them.
Laura Lewis-Barr has been studying psychology, mythology and dreams for many years. As a theatre director and playwright, she understands the power of stories. She believes that the mythic story is a perfect vehicle to help us explore our deeper selves.
